United Democratic Madhesi Front meets Nepalese P.M K.P Oli.

The agitating United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) leaders on Friday have drawn attention of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli urging him to address the demands of the Front at the earliest.
During the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, the UDMF submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister including the issues of national concern and the 11-point demand of the Front, read a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat today.Meanwhile, Prime Minister Oli issued a directive to the concerned authorities to provide free treatment to those who were injured during the protest and withdraw cases filed against them, the statement read.
The PM issued the directive after the leaders of the UDMF informed the PM that those who were injured during the protest were not getting free treatment and the concerned authorities had not yet started a process to withdraw the cases filed against the protesters.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Oli said that the issues of Madhes were the problems of the whole country and urged the UDMF leaders to find a way out to settle the problems together, the statement further read.
The next meeting between the government and the UDMF has been scheduled for 6:30 pm today.
