The International Relations and Labour Committee of the Parliament has directed the government to immediately formulate an action plan on reduction of plane crashes.
The Committee’s meeting on Sunday issued such directive in the wake of two airplane crashes in the country in February. The meeting also batted for the fact-based reports from the probe committees formed regarding the investigations into accidents of two airplanes within the deadlines.
Similarly, the air companies were also suggested that they adopted weather forecasting technology as air incidents were found occurring especially in the hilly and mountainous areas owing to sudden change in weather.
The Committee also asked the government to take actions against the office-bearers found guilty for crashes.
Investigations could be carried out with experts’ team, the Committee added.
