One person in custody after shots fire near bus station

A man is in custody after police say he fired a gun outside the Greyhound bus station in Orlando.

Orlando Police say they have arrested 26-year-old Pierre Michael Louis-Jacques in connection with this shooting.

Officers arrived to the Greyhound bus station located on N. John Young Parkway a little after 3 p.m.

Upon arrival police found no one injured, but an officer spotted the suspect leaving the area.

After a short foot pursuit, the suspect went over a fence in an attempt to flee from police.

Orlando Police say Sgt. Achey ran through the chain link fence.

The suspect pulled out the firearm and dropped it as the officers, Sgt. Achey and Officer Wilks, pinned him under the fence.

Witnesses were able to identify the man police captured as the same person who fired the gun.

Pierre Michael Louis-Jacques was arrested without further incident.
